Submit an Abstract
Instructions for preparation of posters will be sent together with acceptance notifications and made available on the congress website closer to the conference date. If accepted for presentation, we invite participants to show their research results as poster during the 9th Cachexia Conference. We will arrange for poster discussions chaired by 2 faculty members where authors will be asked for a 1-2 minute talk to summarize their poster followed by 2-3 minutes for discussion. The best judged abstracts from basic, clinical and nutrition science will be selected for additional oral presentation during the congress. The selected presenters will be notified at least 4 weeks before the congress. Please follow the instructions provided when submitting your abstracts.
Furthermore, Best Poster Award, Young Investigators Award and Trainee Poster Award will be conferred and announced in the last session of the conference. Submission:
Please note that in addition to completing this form, we will also require a Word document of your abstract to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be asked to enter the following:
- Contact information for the submitting author
- Title, authors, affiliations
- 300-word abstract as word document (use a normal, plain font, e.g., 10-point Times Roman)
All abstracts will be published in the Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle (including on the website www.jcsm.info). Please submit in time as we have to meet the publication time-lines of the journal publisher.
